A visit to RSPB Sandwell Valley on a very windy and dull Sunday and a walk around the lake to keep warm. Lots of work has been undertaken during the winter months including the remodelling of the islands in order to attract more waders. It was good to see that Stumpy the Oystercatcher (she has a foot missing)was back with her partner. Let’s hope they breed again this year.
