Cut up – BrownhillsBob's #365daysofbiking

7th OCtober – Sorry, only just had time to sort this out.

This is a very close pass. He was agressive behind me at the lights, and didn’t appear to care how close he came. The back end was very close indeed. This actually scared me.

I cannot understand the necessity for such an aggressive manoeuvre, particularly at a junction where I have to be particularly wary of traffic from the filter at the left. I had full lights on at the time, and he pulled up behind me at the lights, so he knew full well I was there. Shocking.

August 24th – On my way home at sundown. Walsall Road, Fallings Heath, Darlaston. Watch for the car coming out of the side road on the right. Lights on front and back didn’t stop this dozy woman in the black car from not seeing me. To compound the irritation, she smiled at me and waved me on, like I was in the wrong. They just don’t get it…

May 16th – Redditch. Pouring myself liquid downhill here is a joy, usually, but one has to beware of vehicles – it’s a bad place for dooring and being pulled out on. This example of shocking, idiotic driving is why I give so much time to maintaining my brakes. Ah well, replacement pads are only fifteen quid a pop…

May 4th – Morning commute to Sutton, and another great example of inconsiderate, dangerous and stupid driving; this time it’s on the A5127 Lichfield Road in Mere Green, just at the junctions of Harland Road and Holly Lane. This is a shamefully poor piece of road use for which there can be little excuse. Yet again I find myself cut up in a posh area. What gives?
