Thanks for that info on Tettenhall Towers Bob – Tettenhall is a wonder of tiny lanes and lovely cottages. Parking is a pain though and stopping to take photos causes problems. Still I shall try to get more – haven’t got disqus sorted on my new layout yet. Now I have a scanner sorted I can use the weird APS photos I have. One of the formative things of my childhood was listening to Gordon Astley from Tettenhall Towers. That and ‘Supergold Sunday’. 97.2 VHF FM.

You might enjoy a wander around Calmore and Highgate in Walsall for a similar feel. Worth checking out the old windmill alone.
