November 28th – A day in Leicester again, so I shot down to Lichfield Trent Valley before dawn. Dawn itself came just before Nuneaton, where I change trains. From the platform, the railway and it’s peculiarly universal vanishing points made for in interesting view in the golden morning sunlight. Sometimes, the oddest things can be precious.

November 1st – It was a slightly better morning this morning than that of the day before, and the dawn seemed to come a shade earlier. As I reached Shenstone Station, I noticed the lightened sky to the east, and the perfect manner in which it highlighted Shenstone’s Victorian Gothick church tower. You don’t see gargoyles like that every day…

June 3rd – The day was birthed in light, banded shrouds of very shallow mist. The temptation to stop and just take pictures for hours wasn’t compatible with my need to get to work. I did manage a few atmospheric shots around Mill Green, however, which are posted over on my main blog.
Mornings like this are what cycling is about.
