September 7th – Hopwas Hays Wood. A downhill from the north tip I’d not done before. Difficult, unexpected, exhilarating. I’ve pussyfooted around with this damned bad foot too long. Time to wig out.
I’ve also not done any ride cams for ages, and have a bit of a project on the boil. More later.

July 27th – A morning meeting took me to Camp Hill in Birmingham, then on to Darlaston. Heading into the centre of Birminham, I was struck by the wonderful view downhill from the top of Bradford Street, Digbeth. This could almost be San Francisco… how I love Birmingham and it’s surprising corners. Always something new.
April 13th – Morning downhill commute. Long uphill run from Little Aston, the hill crests at the lights at the junction of Streetly Lane and Four Oaks Road. An exhilirating blast at speeds of up to 35 miles per hour ensues. Just right for blowing away the morning blues.
