December 5th – Out late again, I shot past Walsall Wood church and noted the Christmas tree and church look nice again this year. I love the fact that the local councillors buy the tree themselves out of their own pockets and give it to the community.
They don’t have to do that, but the fact hat they do, even though we’re miles apart politically, is a true act of festive felicity.
Shame the street lights always wreck any night shot of Walsall Wood church.
November 30th – OK, everybody stop panicking. The Christmas lights are up and on in Brownhills. You can all stop mailing/messaging me.
Yes, I know it’s a work in progress, and one or two ain’t on yet, but they’re up, and look much better than this photo would suggest.
Folk seem really early with this stuff this year…
Dember 23rd – Further up the Watling Street, this house always pushes the boat out at Christmas. I quite like it; it’s a bit of a Brownhills institution. There’s no denying it now, Christmas is upon us for sure. Let’s hope the weather clears soon…
