October 28th – 6:00pm, Walsall Bus Station. Oops. The bus was touching the railings, and I suspect the driver was touching cloth. Although no significant damage appeared to have occurred, the bus was halted here for some time.

Ironically, the advert on the side is promoting bus driving as a career.

July 12th – Crossing Shire Oak with a saddlebag full of food, I was caught by the lights. The junction is quite, quite horrid, and desperately needs resurfacing. Later on that evening, there would be a serious road accident here, blocking the junction for several hours.

It really was about time something was done to improve this junction or all users.

March 26th – Not having the best of luck, lately. There I was, bang on time to catch my train, and this genius got his wagon wedged under Blake Street bridge, disrupting Cross City Line gains, and making me late for work. Lorries are always striking this bridge and the one in Station Road, Erdington. It’s a pain.

I do hope nobody was hurt, and that the cost of this is passed on to the person responsible.

After I tweeted this, a passing journalist asked me to mail the image to them – I suggested they could have it for a £10 donation to MacMillan or St. Giles. Oddly, they went quiet after that. It was worth a try…
